Carnaval - Mardi Gras card

Hello Paperlovers!

February is a funny month. It comes just after the holidays season and before spring. Outside is still gray and cold. People typically think of Valentine day when it comes to February (except for those visiting Venise or New Orleans of course). BUT it is also Carnaval/Mardi Gras season.

Carnaval  is such a beautiful holiday and such a good opportunity to throw a party that it is amazing how few of us actually think about it. And, when looking out for Carnaval or Mardi Gras paper crafting ideas there are really very few resources available on the Internet.

Carnaval is not only for kids, oh no! It is a great time for a Masquerade party. Here is a I card made for Carnaval.

And here are a few examples of simple 10 min. invitation cards for a masquerade party. I will try to follow up with photos of the actual party and decor in another post.

If you would like to have some instructions on how to make these (or something similar to these), please let me know and I will post the how to tutorial for you.

And here is another one just for the sparkle (I love the FranTage encrusted jewels, nothing else adds such sparkle to a card)!
