In a couple of months will be Communion time!
So here is one not so conventional menu card I made for my husband’s godson Communion last year. This one was for the adults. The front is a wheel card.
Here is the front of te Menu card as it was presented on the table:
You can see below a detail of two other sentiments that show when the wheel is turned (there was a 4th one stamped with the name).
Here is how the first pages of the inside look like. On the left side there is a picture of the star of the day (I put the brown cardstock for the purposes of posting it here).
Then when you turn the page, there is the actual menu printed on vellum.
Finally, on the last page there is a simple pocket for a Polaroid picture I took on the D-day of the star of the day with each guest and slided it into the pocket. That way, each guest could take home a unique souvenir to cherish forever. I also inserted a blank card for the star of the day to write a little word for each guest (but did not work out well as there were too many guests to write for and the kids preferred to play;-).
I hope you like these Menu cards for the grown ups and also the ones for the kids which you can also find on my blog. As for the kids’ ones, these take some time to make especially when there are a few of them, so if you are to make them, anticipate!
Have a great time crafting and be inspired!
