Menu front

Hello Paperlovers!

In a couple of months will be Communion time!

So here is one not so conventional menu card I made for my husband’s godson Communion last year. This one was for the kids. The front is a sliding card, you can see it below closed and open.

Here is the front as it was presented on the table:

And here is the slider showing the kids’  menu:

But the best is yet to come, the inside: a very simple pocket on the left and an enveloppe on the right. Now, dig out your old Polaroid,  take some pictures on D-day of the star of the day with each young guest and slide it in the left pocket. That way, each kid can take home a unique souvenir to cherish forever.

My daughter also stored there the small umbrella she got with her ice cream;-)

And why not have a nice picture printed in advance of the star of the day and inserted in the enveloppe as another souvenir for the guests? Mine was cut into a puzzle for some additional fun for the kids, but, of course, this is optional.

II hope you like these Menu cards for kids or at least that they gave you a few fun and inspiring ideas.

I warn you though, these take some time to make especially when there are a few of them, so if you are to make them, anticipate!

Have a great time crafting and be inspired!
